Maria de la Iglesia

Spanish born, UK based, Maria de la Iglesia is a photographer and picture editor. She started her career in Photography in Dublin, Ireland, where she moved in 2001 after studying a BA and MA in Business in Madrid, her home city. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Photography at the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2007, she moved to London where she graduated with an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at the London College of Communication in 2009. She now live in the UK and work as a freelance photographer and photo editor, creating her own personal work, collaborating with many different photographic adventurers and combining it all with motherhood.

Maria loves dark humour in photography, enjoys critical photographic debates and looking endlessly at images, collecting photography books and sustainable living.
